The South-East European Research Institute on Geo Sciences, known by its short name Geo-SEE Institute, is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and secular organization dedicated to research, science, education, training and the promotion of Geo Sciences. Its scope includes surveying, geophysics, cartography, geography, toponomastics, geology, geomorphology, geodynamics, geopolitics, hydrology, demography, geographic information systems, cadastre, topography, geoinformatics, remote sensing, photogrammetry, mining, forestry, soil science, climatology, environmental sciences, spatial and urban planning, ecology, geospatial data and other related scientific fields across South-East Europe.
The Institute aims to support the advancement and further development of Geo Sciences, geospatial data and geo-information in North Macedonia and across South-East Europe through cooperation, exchange of experience, alignment with global developments and regional and international collaboration with related institutions.
To advance Geo Sciences through research, education, innovation and international cooperation, while strengthening professional capacities, sharing scientific knowledge and contributing to a sustainable and knowledge-based future.

Geo-SEE Institute is committed to promoting lifelong learning and professional capacity building in Geo Sciences, Geoinformatics, Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Spatial Data Analysis and related technologies.
Through its Life Long Learning and Vocational Education and Training activities, the Institute provides high-quality, practice-oriented programmes for students, researchers, public administration, private companies and geospatial professionals seeking to improve their knowledge and technical competencies.
All programmes combine theoretical foundations with extensive hands-on exercises using real-world datasets and internationally recognized software and methodologies, enabling participants to develop practical skills applicable in professional and research environments.
